Camping at Lamoine State Park

This year camping was full of adventure. The clouds were plentiful, the sun was scarce and the showers were scattered. As we were setting up our tents, it began to pour.

Nathaniel and Kimberly look like they know what they are doing.
Last year, Kimberly took down camp in the rain.
Will she be able to get the tent up and keep everything dry?

Hurry and get that rain fly on because the rain is coming!

They did it and everything is dry.

This was Mike and Marsha's first time camping.

We think Mike is praying that it will not rain anymore.

Did Carlene have to set up her tent all by herself?

The rain stopped long enough for a campfire.
We toasted hot dogs, marshmallow for s'mores, biscuits, donuts and refrigerator breadsticks.
We put butter, cinnamon and sugar on the breadsticks. They were delicious.
