Spring in Maine

We still have lots of snow but the weather is mild.

The brook is open so we have to use our "muck boots" to cross the brook.
We have to snowshoe to the brook, remove our snowshoes, wade across the brook, put on our snowshoes and hike across the field to the forest.
The snow is packed down which makes the snowshoeing easy.

We found a stranger in the woods.
Was it the City Slicker or the Ent?
